Abstract

The Lacanian analysis of a minimal fragment from the series "The Messiahess" is taken as a metaphor to address what in the author's view should constitute the educational act. Instead of the reproduction of the curriculum in the classroom, the transmission of culture linked to a specific desire is proposed as the axis around which to situate the role of the teacher.
