Interpreters who act in armed conflicts, in addition to their role in communication, play a role in the mediation and resolution of armed conflicts. They can also help facilitate dialogue between opposing sides and promote mutual understanding. However, the performance of the interpreters' task in this scenario can be extremely compromised, as they run the risk of suffering injuries, panic attacks or even the loss of their own life or that of their family members, on the part of the opposing sides. if their work is considered to favor a particular side. This situation is aggravated when it comes to Arab interpreters in conflict zones, since many of them are considered traitors for cultural and political reasons. This research tries to give visibility to this figure in areas of armed conflict in the Arab region and the Middle East and highlight the difficulties they face.
