Una monografía colectiva densa, compuesta por 18 capítulos en la que se pretende reflexionar sobre el papel de la traducción en la construcción del imaginario cultural en esta era digital y digitalizada, en la que, parece que se obvie el papel de la traducción cuando esta, en opinión de los autores de esta monografía, es uno de los artífices, si no el artífice principal de la construcción de eso que denominamos cibercultura global, que se expande entre las distintas culturas locales interconectadas en la sociedad red.
