In the process of searching for a European Higher Education Area, university institutions are satisfied with one of their objectives with the Berlin Communiqué of 2003, which proposed to the countries of the member states of the European Union a sharing of the qualifications corresponding to higher education. As a guideline, as cited in the book, these should be collected in terms of learning outcomes, competence and profile.
Under this premise, this book begins, followed by a brief explanation of the term competence, as it alludes to the difficulty of many university professors to understand what a competition is, as well as when it is acquired.
