JLG/JLG Autorretrato de diciembre: el invierno en que Godard se puso de luto

El presente artículo pretende analizar la inscripción de Godard en JLG/JLG Autoportrait de décembre (Autorretrato de diciembre, 1994) para demostrar cómo el cineasta, a través de su autorretrato y fruto de su propia concepción de la responsabilidad, intenta practicar su inmolación como figura autoral. No lo conseguirá, alegando que es algo que debe a sus espectadores. Todo ello lo hará a través de un discurso estructurado como el reflejo de un pensamiento en proceso que obliga al espectador a participar en la producción de sentido del mismo y acudiendo a toda una suerte de referencias cinematográficas, filosóficas y literarias que conectan con su persona y lo constituyen.
Abstract:
This article is an attempt to analyse Godard’s inscription in JLG/JLG Autoportrait de décembre (1994), to demonstrate how the film-maker tries to kill himself as biographical figure through his self-portrait and because of his own concept of author’s responsibility. He will not achieve his objective, although expresses that it is something he still owes his audience. All this he will do through a fragmented discourse structured as a reflection of his own thought in process, obliging his spectator to participate in the production of meaning and resorting to references of all sort (cinematographic, philosophic and literary) that connect with himself as cultural being
