Formación y autoaprendizaje del intérprete local en entornos de conflicto

El objetivo del presente artículo es definir y analizar el perfil profesional, las condiciones laborales y la formación recibida por parte de intérpretes locales profesionales que trabajan sobre el terreno en el conflicto palestino-israelí. Recoge los resultados de un estudio cualitativo basado en seis entrevistas semiestructuradas con intérpretes locales freelance contratadas por organizaciones internacionales. Los datos recabados se codificaron y categorizaron de acuerdo con los principios de la Teoría Fundamentada Constructivista y la fenomenología. Dicho análisis resultó en una narrativa paradigmática que muestra la incidencia del autoaprendizaje de la práctica de la interpretación sobre el terreno, tanto desde una perspectiva técnica como el emocional, teniendo no obstante como punto de partida la existencia de un marco conceptual previo gracias a una formación en interpretación de conferencias.
