This paper analyses in detail the problems posed by the management of the graphical elements and images that usually come with any localisation project, both of software (computer applications of any kind) and websites and web content. Thus, we review and illustrate with plenty of examples, firstly, the most commonly used strategies and tools and, secondly, each one of the stages of the localisation process of graphical material itself, bearing in mind its nature and particular characteristics. Before this section, as a reminder, some basic notions of digital graphical management are revised. For certain, these will be dispensable to the reader who is already familiarised with the basics of this subject.
