.Abstract
Esta obra que aquí presento me parece una monografía imprescindible para la formación de traductores. En ella se abordan temas tan cruciales para la formación del futuro traductor como la adquisición de competencia textual, la distinción de géneros discursivos, las tipologías textuales que permiten catalogar un texto (objeto de análisis o de traducción, según los casos) y las secuencias textuales que caracterizan a un determinado tipo de texto o género discursivo (argumentativo, explicativo descriptivo, conversacional o narrativo).
