In this article, we analyze the problem of terminological variations in the practice of Spanish-French-Arabic legal and judicial translation. Specifically, the analysis of the variation, based on thecriminal law terminology compared to French and Arabic speaking countries, whichcontains three terminological fields: crime, procedures and judicial institutions. From there, we will reflect the professional reality of the translator and court interpreter whose role is to translate between very different legal systems despite beingexpressed in the same language.
