TRADUCIR A UN PREMIO NOBEL: BEIM HÄUTEN DER ZWIEBEL, DE GÜNTER GRASS

This paper will present the task of a literary translator of literary works that have international
recognition –such as the translation of Beim Häuten der Zwiebel written by the Nobel Prize Gu?nter
Grass– considering the basic concepts of editorial translation. But first of all, it will take into account the task of a literary translator. And from that point, it will deal with the practical view of the analysis of some passages of the German original novel and its equivalent in Spanish –translated by the well-known translator Miguel Sáenz. This analysis will be carried out since the field of editorial translation and set the main theoretical foundations of the subject of this study.
