Fotografía y ruina en el siglo XIX: búsqueda y rememoración del tiempo pasado

El presente estudio pretende confeccionar diferentes focalizaciones sobre lo que supone el concepto de ruina a través de la imagen fotográfica en el siglo XIX. Determinados discursos que aparecen tanto en el contexto en el que se realizan esas imágenes como en estudios más contemporáneos que han reflexionado sobre el tema permiten indagar qué significa la ruina como elemento estético e iconográfico desde la representación visual. Desde este punto de partida, el artículo aspira a establecer una taxonomía general que sirva para constituir diferentes criterios de percepción respecto a lo que se ha considerado como mero instrumento clave del ideal romántico. A su vez, se intenta ejemplificar como surgen diferentes informaciones de las fotografías amparadas en diversas contextualizaciones científicas y culturales que tienden a hibridarse dentro del panorama receptivo de esas imágenes. Por otro lado, se trata de describir como el concepto de ruina se articula desde una afección temporal ligada a una experiencia estética en la profusión de imágenes que se ampara, en su sentido amplio, dentro de la denominada corriente romántica.
Abstract:
This study aims to make different focalizations about representing the concept of ruin through the photographic image in the nineteenth century. Certain speeches that appear both in the context in which those images as in more contemporary studies have reflected on the theme allow debris to investigate what means as aesthetic and iconographic element from the visual representation are performed. From this starting point, the article aims to establish a general taxonomy that serves to establish different criteria insight into what has been considered as a key instrument of the romantic ideal number. In turn, attempts to illustrate how different information of the covered pictures emerge in various scientific and cultural contextualization which tend to hybridize within the receptive panorama of those images. On the other hand, it is described as the concept of ruin is built from a temporary condition linked to an aesthetic experience in the profusion of images that protects, in its broadest sense, in the romantic trend called.
