Zama and the fragmented identity: a transposition interpretation

The following essay presents an interpretation about the cinematographic transposition made by filmmaker Lucrecia Martel about Zama (1956), a literary work by Antonio di Benedetto. To this end, we are going to take into account some theoretical questions about the concept of transposition, in order to think about this specific operation.
