About the Journal

Investigaciones Sobre Lectura (ISL) is a scientific journal that collects studies on reading comprehension and competence, as well as research on reading, its promotion and habit and related issues from a multidisciplinary perspective (didactics, linguistics, psychology, literature, journalism, ICT, pedagogy...) 

It is edited by EduVerso (University of Malaga, Spain) and ISL was edited by the AECL (Spanish Association of Reading Comprehension. 2014-2020) and its first issue was published in 2014.

Since 2016, the journal has been indexed in the main national and international scientific directories, which have been expanding as we turned years: CLARIVATE (former Thomsom Reuters) WEB OF SCIENCE (ESCI), SCOPUS (awaiting quartile assignment), seal FECYT, DOAJ, LATINDEX, DIALNET, SHERPA/ROMEO, ERIHPLUS, ISOC, E-REVIST@S, MIAR, ULRICHS, REDINED, RECOLECTA, DULCINEA, WORLDCAT, REDIB, UNIVERSIA, ORCID, among others.

Since March 2021, ISL will be hosted among the UMA journals, please send your proposals to that address since the old website is no longer operational.

El pasado 27 de diciembre, publicamos nuevo número de Investigaciones Sobre Lectura, el 19/2, correspondiente al segundo semestre de 2024, accesible en este enlace https://revistas.uma.es/index.php/revistaISL/issue/view/1308

NEW: June 2020. Investigaciones Sobre Lectura has been accepted for inclusion in Scopus. In a few months we will have the content indexed on the Elsevier website. For us it is very pleasant news, fruit of a rigorous work of constant improvement. We would like to thank the authors for trusting ISL as a medium for the dissemination of their research and the review team for their excellent work.

January 2018. Complete ISL update completed, including bilingual version, as announced at the end of 2016. As of now, publication dates that will continue to be semiannual in June and December are also updated. Contact: aecljournals@gmail.com.
