This is a review of the book Five exercises in educational thinking, a philosophical essay that calls for an awakening for education professionals with regard to the perception of educational reality, and more specifically of the school. Through reading, the book uses different ethical, anthropological and philosophical aspects to invite the reader to create a liberated way of thinking through reading, writing, contemplation, attention and pedagogical caress. All this in order to confront the capitalist demands that homogenise a school model that curbs the affections of the world and human relations, in order to give meaning to education.
