This text in the form of a review of the book "Educating in the digital age" written in 2012 by Professor Ángel I. Pérez Gómez in the prestigious Morata publishing house, aims to reflect the contributions that Pérez Gómez makes to education, always attending to the social, cultural and political changes that take place. The theme addressed in the work could not be of greater importance and relevance. It is a characteristic of his works, I am not saying that he is in the pedagogical intellectual advance but that of being the advanced. And he has given the book a suggestive, incisive, challenging title.
