Abstract

Talking about Claudia Masin is talking about poetry and cinema. In her prolific poetic work, we can find a remarkable weight of one of one of her great passions, the cinema. La vista —II Casa de América Prize for American Poetry— and Lo intacto —Argentine National Arts Fund Prize 2017— are collections of poems that have their seed in various films but, unlike others, use the cinema not only as a reference to From which to write a poem, but as one more material that intervenes in the process of poetic creation. Her poetry revolves around film titles, but she does not limit herself to paying homage to them, but rather tells a story based on them. For this reason, Claudia Masin talks to us in this interview about the ability of poetry to dialogue with the cinema, to create links between the poem and the big screen, and to achieve that a hypnotic story emerges from the union between image and word , powerful, unique.
