Abstract

Santiago Miranda and Perry King make up the perfect tandem for the efficiency and cosmopolitan vision by which this study is defined. They unite the two stylistic concepts of design —the Mediterranean and Anglo-Saxon ones— at their best, in the combination of emotional power and functional thinking, considered as essential components of the creative act. Their work on electronic products, lighting, house and street furniture is supplemented with the creation of atmospheres, exhibition areas, settings where objects/works coexist in effective harmony with limits and volumes, colours, lighting, and the presence of the intended recipient.
