Abstract

The aim of the idea is to deal in depth with the relationship between design and innovation. Particularly, creativity and knowledge are the grounds to understand what we want to say when we talk about the concept of innovation. Companies and territories do not have the chance to develop innovation without creativity and knowledge. In fact, design has a leading role in innovation because of its multidisciplinary nature and tools. Design would be considered a director able “to talk” with every kind of competence involved in innovation processes. This is possible through continuous exchanges and comparisons.
