Call for papers (issues 7 and 8)

Call for papers (issue 7, 2025; issue 8, 2026)

Dear colleagues:

The monographs for issues 7 (2025) and 8 (2026) are closed, but the deadline for submission of papers for the miscellaneous section remains open.

Unpublished articles adjusted to the thematic lines (summarized in the "About the journal" section: https://revistas.uma.es/index.php/trasvases/about) may be submitted before April 15, 2025, which will be evaluated to be part of issue 7 (2025).

Regarding the miscellaneous section of issue 8 (2026), works received before April 15, 2026 will be evaluated.

Articles must be sent anonymously through the OJS platform (after registering as an author: https://revistas.uma.es/index.php/trasvases/user/register), and will also be sent to the journal's director, Rafael Malpartida (rmal@uma.es), who will acknowledge receipt. Those interested in participating as external evaluators must register on the aforementioned OJS platform (in this case, checking the box “Yes, request the role of External Reviewer”) and send a short CV (reflecting the link with this field of study) to the aforementioned email. They will receive the evaluator certificate once the issue in which they have participated is published.

Proposals for monographs will also be accepted for issue 9 (2027) onwards. This must consist of at least five articles and will be submitted to the peer review system in the same way as the miscellaneous section of the journal.

Book reviews that deal specifically with the relationship between literature and cinema will also be considered for publication. To avoid duplication, it is recommended that you submit your proposal in advance by writing to the editor of the journal. Only new publications (including reissues) will be accepted, so they must have been published recently (in the last two years). Publishers or authors who wish to send books for review can contact the aforementioned email address and they will be given instructions.
