Abstract

The relationship between experience and objectivity offered Mariano Álvarez-Gómez, in 1978, an opportunity to highlight the influence of the Kantian approach in Hegel’s thought and to ensure the systematic nature of the experience by understanding it as a «form of objectivity». The structure, theoretical context and epistemological implications of this concept seem to offer a certain metaphysical basis to the notion of «objective purport of experience” currently defended by John McDowell.
