Abstract

The last decade has been one of change as far as graphic design is concerned. It is impossible to describe this period taking only into account postmodern parameters. Today, the expressions of graphic design are characterised by a formal restriction, a clean composition and a return to solid structures. In the fi eld of typography, the use of sans-serif fonts is usual, their confi guration being based on a modular grid with the aim of providing a consistent structure. ll these features undoubtedly take us back to the Swiss style and its subsequent developments.
