Abstract

This article highlights the main characteristics of design through an exploration of “good design” and the temporal restitution of the design as a “new design approach” to the system-product. Starting with the principles that favour the creation, management and implementation including design and integration processes, we will move on to defi ne a “new interdisciplinary approach” which goes “beyond design” and which will create the necessary links between several disciplines, such as ergonomic design and multi-sensory design. The aim of this is to inspire the individual through the synergy of diff erent types of identifi cation signals and languages supported by sensations.
