Abstract

There are many debates about what is art and what is not, and even more debates trying to establish what is the difference between art and design, what is the boundary between these two disciplines. Both have an aesthetic refinement, but the feature that differentiates them most is the absence of functionality in an artistic work, a functionality that, instead, becomes fundamental in a design object, created and designed to satisfy any need, improving the quality of life.
