La participación de la Historia del Arte en la conservación del patrimonio urbano: un reto para el presente

Abstract

This article describes management processes into Urban Patrimony, pointed to conservation of urban plannings and reivindication of specific professional staff answerable of their right running. Art Historians are often put into delicate and strained situations and understimated with respect to interventions performed by this sector. So, the present work wants to clarify and emphasize importance of Art History as science involved with present time of Patrimony, revealing possibilities of Art Historians into activities developed in Urban Patrimony and claiming their active participation for management and preservation of historie town-centres.
