Abstract

This article studies the obtainment of a modern image of Renaissance City through painted ornamentations and its several plastic possibilities. Analyzing Renaissance Picture and Architecture and treatises about buildings, scenography and urban Utopias are shown intense desires of change, according to interest for renovation and "substitution" of the quotidian city for dreamt city.
