Pictures Gifted to the First Duke of Marlborough by the Brussels Court

In 1708 the court of Brussels delivered a set of five paintings to the 1st Duke of Marlborough in gratitude for the services rendered in the War of the Spanish Succession. This varies provides the original document and analyzes the paintings in their context.
