Problemas traductológicos en el relato breve de terror The cask of amontillado de E. A. Poe: Análisis comparativo-descriptivo

Este trabajo trata de las posibilidades de la traducción poética y de los límites y restricciones a que esta práctica se ve sometida.
El autor parte de su experiencia como traductor y ejemplifica con textos poéticos italianos y franceses en los que la estructura rítmica tiene un valor fundamental.
Dos problemas básicos se plantean en esta reflexión: por una parte, las dificultades derivadas de la proximidad de esas lenguas (italiano y francés) con el español, lo cual lleva a un intento de reproducir estructuras lingüísticas; por otra, los problemas de la «traducción» de determinados esquemas rítmicos que son compartidos por estas lenguas.
