OPEN CALL FOR PAPERS DOSSIER TRIBUTE TO JUAN MARÍA MONTIJANO GARCÍA - Roma, la più bella città del mondo
The management and editorial team of Revista Eviterna invites you to join us in an annual project that will begin with issue 10, to be published in September 2021. The aim is to pay tribute to those who have been and continue to be immediate references for our teaching and research. To this end, we have devised the creation of monographic dossiers that integrate new and significant studies that link, thematically, with the research, procedural and methodological paths that these people carried out or still continue to do so. And, in this sense, the first dossier will be dedicated to our admired professor Dr. Juan María Montijano García, who passed away in August 2018; it will be entitled Roma, la più bella città del mondo, one of the phrases he used to use frequently both in his classes and every time he visited the historic city of Lazio, with which he was deeply in love. Thus, we open the usual call for articles that will be based on the following avenues of research: - Rome, centre of the artistic world. - Italian architecture of the Renaissance and the Baroque - Painting and sculpture in the Italian Modern Age - Artistic literature: sources and practical application - Studies on visual culture The guest coordinator of this dossier is Dr. Sergio Ramírez González, Professor of Art History (University of Málaga), with the collaboration of Dr. Marc Montijano Cañellas, also a lecturer, also collaborating in the edition. The call for manuscripts is open from today until 6 June. Manuscripts must conform to the guidelines of our publication and undergo the usual blind peer review process (see: https://revistas.uma.es/index.php/eviterna/about/submissions).
