Metrics

MIAR (Information Matrix for the Analysis of Journals) collects data for the identification and the analysis of scientific journals. Apart from showing the visibility of journals in abstracting and indexing databases. Information is always processed using data available from public sources. At the end of each quarter, journal coverage lists are reviewed in order to keep the system updated with the latest additions. The algorithm for ICDS is public and is displayed in each record for each journal.

Google Scholar helps you find relevant work across the world of scholarly research. Google Scholar Metrics provide an easy way for authors to quickly gauge the visibility and influence of recent articles in scholarly publications. Scholar Metrics summarize recent citations to many publications, to help authors as they consider where to publish their new research.

Dialnet Metrics is a new portal aimed at scientific evaluation processes. IDR index (Indice Dialnet de Revistas) provides information on practically all the scientific journals published in Spain.

The SCImago Journal  Rank (SJR) is a publicly available portal that includes the journals indicators developed from the information contained in the Scopus® database (Elsevier B.V.). The annual report provided by Scopus' SJR makes it possible to analyse the importance of scientific journals in the international literature.
