About the Journal
Focus and Scope
Claridades. Revista de Filosofía, published by FICUM, is an international philosophy journal aimed at professors, students and students of the discipline. It publishes original research articles written preferably in Spanish, although it admits originals in English and German. The magazine is interested in all areas of philosophy, is open to all currents of thought and does not discriminate between them. The works submitted for the consideration of the journal are evaluated anonymously by external specialists. FICUM organizes annually a symposium in which all the works published in the annual number of the journal are submitted to dialogue and debate. Each paper must be preceded by a complete summary in English that guarantees the understanding of the text to an international reader. Although in the early years of the journal this commitment has not been demanding in some sections such as OTHERS, over the time all the sections all the sections have been progressively subjected to the same demanding standards, and will consequently include summaries reviewed by external specialists in response to our growing commitment to the internationalization of the journal.
