Regulation of the use of AI

- The writing of any part of an article using a generative AI/LLM tool, including the generation of the abstract or literature review, is not permitted.
- The generation or reporting of results using a generative AI/LLM tool is not permitted, and the presentation of statistical reports in the text using a generative AI/LLM tool is not permitted.
- Reviewers may not use AI in the evaluation of manuscripts (to protect intellectual property rights).

- Editing an article using a generative artificial intelligence/LLM tool to improve its language and readability would be permitted, as this reflects the standard tools already employed to improve spelling and grammar, and uses existing material created by the author, rather than generating completely new content, while the author(s) remain responsible for the original work. In this case, the following guidelines will be followed:
    - Authors must declare the use of AI and it must appear in the published PDF, detailing which model was used, what it was used for, and the date.
-Under no circumstances will AI be listed as an author.
     - It is not necessary to declare the use of AI solely for text correction (improving readability or grammar), provided that the human author takes responsibility for the final content.

- The submission and publication of images created by artificial intelligence tools or large-scale generative models is not permitted.

- If ChatGPT or another artificial intelligence tool is cited in your research, its use must be detailed in the methodological explanation and the following APA recommendations must be followed:

     - We will describe in detail, in the Materials and Methods section of our academic work, how we have used this tool (name of the tool, version, creator, etc.). In the case of a literature review or essay, we will describe its use in the Introduction.
-In the body of the work, we will provide the text we used in the query, as well as any part of the text generated in the response that we consider relevant.
-Although APA style stipulates that works that cannot be retrieved by readers are cited in the text as personal communications, and in the case of a chat generated by this tool, there will be readers who cannot retrieve this information, with ChatGPT there is no actual person communicating, but rather, when we cite the text from ChatGPT, we are sharing the result of an algorithm. For this reason, in the list of bibliographic references, we will cite the author of the algorithm, which will correspond to its citation in the corresponding text.

-Citations in the ChatGPT text may have the following format: (OpenAI, 2023)

-Final references will use this structure: Model author. (year). Model name in italics (version) [Model description]. Developer. URL (e.g., OpenAI. (2023). ChatGPT (14 March version) [Large language model]. https://chat.openai.com/chat)
