Abstract

The building dedicated to Saint Sebastian's College of Jesuits (1572-1767) still can be admired in the Company of Jesus Street in Málaga: the church entitled today "Our Lord of the Health" and the old school dependences occupied now by several institutions of Málaga. The Jesuit College of Málaga was one of the last founded under of Saint Francis of Borja's generalship, owing to Bishop of Málaga Francisco Blanco Salcedo who gave up the Jesuits the Saint Sebastian's Hermitage and Hospital and the house joined them. This article studies the development of projecting, approving and edifying of the church and outbuildings, contributing to their knowledge with new unpublished facts about the authors of the same.
