The first indicator sought for anyone territorial action in one tourist space is "count the tourist´ s number". In spite of be an basic indicator, it not always can be estimated to different scales; while it is controred mediantly in national or regional level, an major difficulty exists in major scales. Obviously the local scale is very important for concrete actions: management, planification, impacts, etc. The article raises the problematic, the different analysis´ sources and finally the different methodologics, with special mention to the indirect sources.
