Abstract

If anything characterizes the ecological turn printed in Peter Szendy's For an Ecology of Images (Shangrila editions, 2023) it is a stewardship of words: in his brevity, in anecdotes that become essay and then theory; in his fondness for neologisms (many actually revitalized archaisms), Szendy recycles and puts words together, gives them new meaning and throws them back into circulation.
