Abstract

Our graphic culture is still affected by seizures technology. Even so, the need to make sense of our visual context requires us the open research processes in the educational scope. In typography, these processes should be open knowledge that go beyond of alphabetic signs. Should be applied through them, recognizing aspects of cultural, social, ideological, economic or technical development. This reflection demonstrates the parallels between architecture and typography, comparing architectural concepts with foundation for fonts configuration.
