Aprovechando los lazos de parentesco para el desarrollo de empresas familiares en el turismo rural: Evidencias desde Indonesia

El sector turístico en Indonesia ofrece una plataforma significativa para que las empresas familiares impulsen el crecimiento económico, particularmente en las zonas rurales. En estos contextos, dichas empresas suelen involucrar no solo a familias nucleares, sino también a familias extensas conectadas a través de redes de parentesco. Este estudio examina el papel del parentesco en el desarrollo de empresas familiares dentro del Geoparque Mundial UNESCO Ciletuh Palabuhanratu, Indonesia. En concreto, la investigación busca explorar cómo las relaciones de parentesco en la aldea de Ciwaru contribuyen a la sostenibilidad y el crecimiento empresarial. A través de métodos cualitativos y un enfoque de estudio de caso, el análisis aplica conceptos de empresa familiar, parentesco y sistemas de herencia. Los hallazgos revelan que el parentesco actúa como un recurso clave, proporcionando mano de obra, facilitando la promoción del negocio, garantizando la continuidad generacional y ampliando las actividades empresariales. Estas redes fomentan la cooperación, la confianza y la experiencia compartida, permitiendo que las empresas familiares prosperen. Además, el crecimiento de estas empresas ha desempeñado un papel fundamental en la lucha contra la pobreza en la aldea de Ciwaru, destacando el impacto socioeconómico de las empresas familiares basadas en parentesco.

Los derechos de autoría son de dos tipos: morales y patrimoniales, los cuales EJFB reconoce y respeta. Los derechos morales son los relacionados con el reconocimiento de autoría. Son prerrogativas perpetuas, irrenunciables, intransferibles, inalienables, inembargables e imprescriptibles como consecuencia del vínculo indivisible del autor/a y su obra. Los derechos patrimoniales son aquellos que se derivan de la reproducción, distribución, adaptación o comunicación pública de la obra, entre otros. Estos derechos patrimoniales son cedidos por EJFB a la Universidad de Málaga en acceso abierto.
Los autores y autoras que publican en EJFB reconocen que la revista se publica en completo acceso abierto y que está autorizada para reproducir, distribuir, difundir o comunicar el trabajo bajo una Licencia CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. Esto significa que usted es libre de compartir y adaptar este material bajo las condiciones siguientes:
