In our paper we deal with an estimation of soil loss in the south east Málaga province area, and in particular an evaluation of rill erosion caused by overland flow in the last heavy rains which fell in the Málaga area during the period 14-26th November, 1989; we have chosen four samples from slopes with almond trees in the "Montes de Málaga", and four other samples from slopes with cereal plantations in the "Corredor de Colmenar".
