Megalithic necrópolis of Encinas Borrachas (Alpandeire-Malaga)

It is the aim of the present article to study a megalithic necropolis situated in the western area of the province of Málaga. As far as it is known, such necropolis consists of three tombs. In this essay the following factors will be taken into account: the geographical environment where the necropolis is placed, its economic potentialities, the materials used in the construction of the tomb, their typology and archeological material and the place occupied by the necropolis within the megalithic areas in western Málaga. An appendix on the bone remains found in the excavations is also added.
