On the basis of several existing hypotheses as to the outline of the borderline between the senatorial province (Baetica) and the imperial province (Tarraconense), a hypothetical line of division is established in the eastern area of Baetica, as well as the possible subdivision of this province, that is the division into connentus iuridici.
