The present article studies the so-called cobertera malàguide, a stratified area in the Complejo Malàguide (internal units of the Betican range), a unit shown in a small area that presents a highly idiosyncratic morphology and therefore a very peculiar landscape. It is the objective of this study to define its morphological features, specify its location, analyze its landscape characteristic and provide a survey of the human activities developed in it. Finally, we conclude that there may be a need for an overall consideration of this area as a singular unit.
