This article is about the delimitation of useful terrain units for the assessment of the Andarax basin (Almeria area) which includes various landscape units (mountain, piedmont and valley). We have been working on a 1:25.000 scale. From the superposition of theme maps referering to morphology, dipslope and litology, have come out 69 different units. These units have been caracterized with the morphogenetic processes which affect them and with their activity level. So, in this way we have assessed their geomorphological hazard.
