At the beginning of century, Malaga had not a Provincial Museum where keep the archaeological objects. When between 1904 y 1906 demolished part of Alcazaba´s walls discovering important archaeological objects, the need of a place converted a room of Declamation Academy, founded by Narciso Díaz de Escovar, in a little museum. Here deposited different pieces, known by various documents.
