Risk as a social construction. Vulnerability, adaptation and risk perception in an area of chronic flooding.

This paper, after the 1989 floods in Guadalhorce river plain, makes a reflection about the diferents social positions of the risk perception, meaning and evaluation (individual, local, institutional), in order to analize the links between this perception and management decisions.
