As can be deduced from the numeorus studies dedicated to the topic, one of the key factors in the reconstruction of the basic structures of power is the analysis of the existing links between economic and political power. A line of thought on which this article is principally based, having its aim in trying to gain an insight into the existing relationship between business men and politicians in present day Andalucia by examining in each of the provinces the business organisations, their idealogical policies, their attitude to the economic politics of successive governments and from a more general point of view, their connections with active political forces.
