Political profile of the Felipe III’s State Counsellors.

The Council of State was the most important government institution in the Hispanic monarchy of the Modern Age. The Venetian ambassadors, in their reports, left very interesting descriptions on the personality of the consultants of the State during Felipe´s III reign, that the help us to understand the political decisions talen during the difficult moment of the beginning of the Spanish decadence.
