In the present article we come closer the functioning of the local organs that acted to the service of the Popular Court of the province of Malaga during the republican phase of the Spanish civil war. The analysis of these actions reveals the maintenance of the repressive capacity of the committees that in villages of the province supported the power to the margin of the reorganization of the institutionalized justice in the popular courts. The processes of several right-wingers, Istán and Estepona put of relief the limits of republican justice.
