The land distribution at the Norte Grande Argentino: continuities and changes

Based on data derived from the two last Agrarian Census and on information extracted from interviews, the aim of this paper is to focus on both the main facts related to the land distribution at the Norte Grande Argentino region, and on the issues related with the access to it. A process of land concentration, due both to the rising of big e xploitations and to the small farmers disappearing are one of our findings, as is too the arise of a process, involving indigenous population, which aim is to get the rights over their land.Downloads
