Esta monografía, dirigida por los profesores José Luis Monereo Pérez, Rosa María González de Patto, Carla Spinelli y Raquel Vida Fernández, ha sido elaborada con el fin de aportar un análisis actual, sistemático y comparado sobre los derechos fundamentales, sus garantías y ejercicio, en el marco concreto del empleo público de España e Italia. En ella participan numerosos docentes e investigadores de varias Universidades Italianas y españolas, como Ombretta Dessi, Rosa Di Meo, Gemma Pacella, Gabriella Nicosia, Paola Saracini, Gabriella Leone, Carla Spinelli, Marco Barbieri, Vincenzo Bavaro, Donato Marino, Monica McBritton, Angelica Riccardi, José Luis Monereo Pérez, Rosa María González de Patto, Pompeyo Gabriel Ortega Lozano, Olimpia Molina Hermosilla, Raquel Vida Fernández, Francisco Vila Tierno, Gloria María Montes Adalid y Belén del Mar López Insua.
