Influence of the teaching-style in the learning of sport-technical elements

The aim of this study has been analyze the classroom climate (CC) and the intrinsic motivation (IM) during physical education sessions using different teaching styles. Task assignment (TA) teaching style was used in a experimental group and the reciprocal teaching (RT) was used in the another experimental group. To analyze the variables discussed, at the end of each session, students performed the tests. T-test was performed in order to analize the independent samples. Results show high scores of IM after the sessions that carry out TA style and high scores in CC after the sessions that carry out RT style. As conclusion, Physical Education teachers should use the AT and ER styles in order to increase the IM and CC in the teaching of technical elements in the games and sports content.Downloads
