About the Journal

The ELECTRONIC JOURNAL OF DIDACTICS OF TRANSLATION AND INTERPRETING (redit) was established by a group of academics interested in the scientific development and professional practice of teaching and learning in translation and interpreting. The aim of the journal is to provide a forum for a range of theoretical approaches and proposals for pedagogical action applied to translation and interpreting, as well as for approaches to teaching oriented towards professional practice and its requirements. The journal is intended as a platform for exchange among specialists interested in reflecting on teaching in translation and interpreting studies, particularly in the current context of the Information Society, which entails profound changes in pedagogical approaches and whose opportunities and limitations must be carefully examined.
